How do I contact Shutterstock customer service? ›

Automated renewal and billing

The most common reason you may be surprised by a charge from STK*Shutterstock comes from the fact that our subscription plans are designed to renew and rebill automatically at the end of each month. On-demand packs are designed to automatically refill upon depletion.

You can initiate all cancellations in the “Cancel plan” module on the Plans page of your account. There are a number of benefits to keeping a Shutterstock account open once your plan has expired or been canceled. An account makes it easy for our customers to keep their collections and download histories.

All fees are non-refundable, even if your subscription is terminated before its expiration. You authorize Shutterstock to charge you all subscription fees for the duration of the term agreed to at the time of purchase.

Accounts with active plans cannot be closed until your active plan has been canceled and the term of the original commitment has expired. Please contact us if you require assistance with your current plan. Accounts with no downloading history will have all personal data removed from our system.

Free cancellations

There is no cancellation fee charged when you cancel a plan at the end of its term. This applies to packs, subscriptions with month-to-month billing (without an annual commitment) and annual subscriptions with upfront billing.

How do I permanently cancel a subscription? ›

Go to the company's website and sign into your account. Find billing, account, or subscription management settings and look for the cancellation option. Click the Cancel button and follow the provided steps to confirm the cancellation. Look out for the cancellation confirmation email.
