Question Answering (QA) ia a subfield of Natural Language Processing that deals with the task of automatically answering questions posed in natural language.

Question Answering models are able to retrieve the answer to a question from a given text. This is useful for searching for an answer in a document. Depending on the model used, the answer can be directly extracted from text or generated from scratch.

An artificial intelligence question-answering tool is online software that uses AI to extract relevant questions from one or more URLs and provide answers automatically.

Once the questions and answers are generated, the tool extracts named entities from the answers in each URL. You can select one or more entities and see in which question/answer they are mentioned.

This free tool has been developed using Large language models (LLMs) and our technology stack. The use of LLMs in isolation tends to be limited. Using WordLift API, we can leverage content from the provided web pages list.

The user provides from 1 to 3 URLs. The URLs shouldn’t be behind a paywall and should not require user interaction (cookie managers).

The app is not a summarizer. It’s a tool that generates questions and answers (Q&As) using AI’s power. The app gets the content of each URLs, then finds questions, and finally generates the answers by looking at the content of each article. The questions are relevant to the content of each article. In most cases, the app generates about 4 Q&As.

Once the question and answers are generated, the app extracts named entities from the answers of each URL. The number of entities is limited to 16 maximum in this free app (all URLs combined). If more than 16 entities are available, a random selection of 16 entities will be returned to the user.

Once the app finds the entities, they are returned to the user. The user can then select one or more entities and see in which question/answer the entities are mentioned. The filtering groups the results into 2 sections: 1) entities mentioned across multiple URLs, 2) entities exclusive to one URL.

These sections depend on the result. For instance, if no common entity is found in the returned result, then only entities exclusive to one URL will be displayed. The whole process takes about 2-3 minutes to finish.
