Apple Beta — Unenroll Your Devices (2024)

When your device is enrolled in the Apple Beta Software Program, you will automatically receive new versions of the beta. At any time, you may unenroll your device so that it no longer receives these updates.

Turn off beta updates

To stop receiving the watchOS betas, go to the AppleWatch app on your paired iPhone, tap the MyWatch tab, then go to General > Software Update > Beta updates, and tap “Off” from the list of options.

For devices running watchOS 9.4 or earlier:

Go to the AppleWatch app on your paired iPhone, tap the MyWatch tab, then go to General > Profiles and tap the watchOS Beta Software Profile that appears. Tap RemoveProfile. If asked, enter your device passcode, then tap Remove. Once the profile is deleted, your AppleWatch device will no longer receive watchOS betas.

Install the next version of watchOS

When the next commercial version of watchOS is released, it will automatically install if you have AutomaticSoftwareUpdate turned on. Or, you can manually check for updates by going to the AppleWatch app on your paired iPhone, tapping the MyWatch tab, then going to General > Software Update.
