I have been using ChatGPT 4.0 for 3 months now and here is what I believe.
With new updates on ChatGPT 4, it’s a must tool every professional should try at least once. ChatGPT 4 was very awesome itself but with new updates, it has features like uploading an image and doing queries on that. Browse from Bing directly, and use DALL.E 3.0 directly from ChatGPT, use voice chat on mobile, previously from already powerful features like plugins and advanced data analysis.
Let’s go into details and see how ChatGPT 4.0 is better than ChatGPT 3.5
1. Creating and Refining All My Content
This is the most obvious one and something you can do with ChatGPT 3.5 itself, but ChatGPT 4 is a game changer in this for many reasons. Let me tell you why:
1. Use plugins or now with the browse Bing feature to browse the web on create the latest content.
2. Ask ChatGPT to write content in your style by making it read one of your written articles or the whole blog by just giving the list.
3. Convert any of your articles into tweets, LinkedIn posts, and even possibly.
4. Insta post with the introduction of Dall E.
5. Create relevant images, infographics, or even memes for your articles from DALL E itself.
6. Upload any document and ask ChatGPT to work on it with you.
7. Upload images and convert them into actual text.
8. Upload a book and create consumable summaries on that.
In short, you can become a full-fledged content creator today. All you need to do is type or speak your thoughts and let ChatGPT handle everything else from creating strategy, to repurposing your content for other channels, to articulating your thoughts in the best manner possible.
2. Researching
As you all know, in research it’s tough to find all the relevant data points. You’ll need to read many articles, and then compile them together. It all takes time and effort. For UX researchers, we need to prepare the right questions and analyze them. Plan how we will conduct research. Create strategies to analyze the data, be it quantitative or qualitative.
1. You can ask ChatGPT to go through the “Mom’s Test” book (a renowned book for user research questions) and ask ChatGPT to prepare questions specific to your research based on that.
2. Conduct general secondary market research with a simple prompt and understand the scale and size of the market.
3. Add links to all the sources you want for market research and ask ChatGPT to create a report based on that.
4. Research complex analysis methods as a UX researcher and even conduct the research directly on the platform.
3. Design Feedback
This feature was not as refined before the new update of ChatGPT. Now, you can upload your design or flow of design and ask for feedback. The feedback is genuinely insightful. This is especially great for junior designers. They can simply ask ChatGPT for feedback, leveraging its vast knowledge. Additionally, you can even ask ChatGPT to write code for your landing page design.
4. Building Design Case Studies
Most designers, including myself, find building case studies tedious. With ChatGPT, you just need to provide all the information & screenshots for the case study, and ChatGPT will structure it perfectly for you. It can even craft stunning visuals for your case study. If you want feedback on your case study, simply upload it or provide a link, and ChatGPT will guide you on improvements.
ChatGPT 4.0 offers so much more than I’ve mentioned here. I genuinely recommend giving it a try. It’s not a sales pitch; it’s a tool that’s genuinely transformative. Typically, a blog like this would take me 6 hours, but with ChatGPT, the editing process is streamlined.
ChatGPT 4 costs $20 (around INR 2000) per month, and it’s worth every penny. If you find it pricey, consider sharing the cost with friends. I’ve done so, and now it only costs me $5 (or INR 500) per month.
I hope you found this insight valuable :)
Also if you are planning to learn how to use ChatGPT as a designer my friend Tibi David(ChatGPT wizard) has an amazing ebook on it.
